Our client iPay is an award-winning, reliable, and secure real-time end-to-end payment processing and billing service provider, authorised by the Central Bank of Kenya seeking to fill the position of marketing manager where the Candidate will be based in DRC Congo. We are looking for an individual who is suitably qualified and competent with experience as a marketing manager.


Developing and implementing marketing strategies, including social media, digital, advertising, communications, and creative strategies. Planning and coordinating marketing initiatives; creating brand awareness and positioning the brand. Oversee product development process with the aim of developing products and facilitating business decision making. Management of our client’s Products Portfolio.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities;
1. Formulate marketing strategies including digital, advertising, communications, and creative strategies to achieve the sales targets for the organization.
2. Develop and implement strategies that drive brand positioning that generates demand and interest among merchants.
3. Drive brand message that is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
4. Maintain a cohesive, highly trained, motivated team sufficient to meet daily department demands, providing training, development, support, and leadership.
5. Drive brand love through motivating, leading, and influencing all the staff in all the departments by being the marketing ambassador.
6. Lead in the marketing research On Consumer behaviour, merchant feedback, customer expectations, market insights with a goal to develop and implement Customer value proposition (CVP), share updates on pricing, competitive advantage, to improve customer experience, delivery mechanisms and content relevant to merchant acquisition and education.
7. Provide active, intentional leadership to the marketing team; provide timely and constructive feedback; monitor the accomplishment of team and individual goals and objectives; foster an environment of continuous learning consistent with the needs of the organization, team, and the individual staff member.
8. Coordinate Brand events, campaigns, and meeting logistics.
9. Support design and direct all digital platforms and strategies, including website, mobile applications, Search Engine Optimizations and Social media assets.
10. Growth in market share through increased product uptake Promotion of the brand through product communication development
11. Develop and coordinate the implementation of the marketing budget
Coordinate brand surveys as well as market intelligence and feedback.
12. Coordinate the contracted marketing agencies to ensure effective service delivery.
13. Review and submit reports on the implementation of the marketing strategies and work plans.
14. Guide the team in the development of marketing and promotional materials.
15. Conduct periodical reviews of the marketing plans to ensure the plans are aligned with the corporate marketing strategy.

Preferred Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or social sciences field with relevant qualifications including marketing, Business Growth, customer Experience, communications and/or public relations
2. Certification in Strategic Management and Leadership
3. Experience in strategy development & implementation
4. 3 years of marketing/product management experience
5. 3 years in Digital marketing

3. Ability to use email campaigns, blogs, forums, and social media experience to generate leads.
4. Understanding analytics and measuring return on Investment (ROI)

9. Sharp knowledge of market trends
10. Good public image and personality
11. Ability to travel
12. Flexible working hours
