BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Career Options Africa Group, is a HR Consultancy firm specializing in Recruitment, HR outsourcing and Immigration support within the East African Region with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Burundi.

In order to enhance our operations in Kenya, COA seeks to fill the above position with a suitably qualified and competent HR Professional with experience working in a busy consultancy firm.

THE JOB
The Senior Human Resource Officer will be expected to provide strong, efficient, and effective Human Resource services for allocated accounts/countries within established policies, rules and regulations.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
• Recruitment, contracting and on boarding for client and internal staff.
• Development and Management of staff records system.
• Supervision of field operation officers in designated countries working on accounts allocated to you in specific areas of your deliverables
• Development and implementation of HR Policy and procedures for accounts managed.
• Ensuring compliance with labor and tax laws in countries of operation.
• Ensuring statutory returns are filed on time.
• Work Closely with Payroll Account to coordinate the payroll cycle to ensure staff get paid on time and statutory deductions remitted on time.
• Oversee the Maintenance of files on statutory deductions by admin assistant/field officer
• Supervision of Immigration procedures for expatriate staff.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual reports on both compliance and operations.
• Handling new enquiries in designated countries.
• Accountable for ensuring client satisfaction with service delivery.
• Ensure effective coordination with field officers in respective countries.
• Ensure staff salaries paid on time and handle any arising issue on time.
• Conducting quarterly and annual compliance audits for allocated accounts/countries
• Update yourself on new labour laws and regulations and ensure the same incorporated into HR policy and fully implemented.
• Manage staff leave records ensuring staff leave cards are updated at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS
The job holder should have the following qualifications;
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Management or equivalent relevant field.
2. CHRP certified professional.
3. At least 3 years’ working experience in a similar position
4. A registered member of Institute of Human Resource Management.
5. Good understanding and knowledge of the Kenya Labour Laws.

THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies;
1. Proficiency in Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point).
2. Great people skills, excellent business acumen, a self-driven and have an outstanding work ethics
3. A very high level of professionalism, integrity, attention to detail and organization are essential for the role.
4. Great communication and presentation skills.
5. Able to operate in a performance-driven organization.
6. Good interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work flexibly and effectively under pressure

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING THE RIGHT PERSON
We are offering a monthly gross salary of KSH. 70,000
