Our client, a leading equipment vendor and global solution provider in the field of information technology and telecommunications is looking for an Account Manager/Sales in South Africa 

The Job

As the Accounts Manager/Sales, you will drive sales, expand the market, manage customer relationships, oversee bidding, and ensure contract and payment processes for the client in South Africa

Key Deliverables

  1. Complete various sales and profit targets assigned by the client, as well as other assessment indicators related to the account manager.  
  2. Participate in market expansion and brand promotion in South Africa explore project opportunities. 
  3. Communicate fully with the product line and collect customer needs to jointly formulate product strategies for target customers.  
  4. Accurately identify key decision-makers in the customer's decision-making chain, explore, establish, maintain, and enhance daily relationships, and be responsible for gathering project information and customer breakthroughs in all stages of the bidding process.  
  5. Be responsible for coordinating contract signing and ensuring timely payment collection, as well as organizing, coordinating, and management

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • At least 3 years of experience in product/service sales to South Africa main telecom operators. 

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies. 

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.  
  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Must be proactive and have keen insight into the operator market. 
  • Must be willing to travel to other cities in South Africa
