Essential Qualities
  • Interested candidates should possess an NCE, HND, B.Ed Degree with 0-2 years experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of English Language and Literature: In-depth understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, literature, and language teaching methodologies.
  • Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience, especially in English and Literature, is highly valued.
  • Classroom Management: Ability to create a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Lesson Planning: Ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive, and curriculum-aligned lessons.
  • Literary Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret literary texts, including fiction, poetry, and drama.
  • Language Teaching Methodologies: Familiarity with language teaching methodologies, such as Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Task-Based Learning (TBL).
