About the Role:
The role of the Finance Team Lead is to assist the Finance Manager in achieving departmental goals and ensuring compliance with financial regulations by supervising the day-to-day operations of the finance team, providing guidance and support to team members.

- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Finance Team
- Ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
- Prepare regular financial reports and analysis for review by the Finance Manager
- Collect accounting information, review and enter accounting entries in journals
- Ensure that accounting operations are recorded on time, and control their accuracy
- Perform monthly account reconciliations
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial initiatives and ensure smooth operations of Amazi Water mandate
- Verify payments prepared by the Accounts Payable Technician
- Ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers
- Ensure keeping of Amazi Water financial records
- Other administrative tasks that fall within the finance department
- Train staff on the use of financial implemented systems like Sage
- Ensure timely payment and reconciliation of PDM
- Liaise with Finance Manager to move and top up bank accounts for efficient running on the organization
- Create Financial reports and suggestion to better run the team
- Assist the Finance Manager in achieving departmental goals.
