Our client a well-established safari tour company currently operating in Uganda, Tanzania, and Kenya is looking for an HR Officer to be based in their offices in Kenya.

The HR Officer will be responsible for various administrative tasks, maintaining employee records, and helping with recruitment and payroll processes.

- Timely and qualified recruitment process- i.e advertising, longlisting, shortlisting, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Staff Onboarding – ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new staff
- Frequent Updating of the HR details within the HR system
- Assist in creating policies, procedures, process maps and documents
- Provide relevant data for payroll processing and ensure all payroll errors are resolved
- Update of staff data in soft and hard copy
- Contract management – ensure all staff contracts are correct and are up to date
- Assist in ensuring Health and Safety laws and regulations are adhered to by the company and all teams
- Ensure attendance and leave records are up to date
- Assist with maintenance of the office with attention to security, cleanliness, and general maintenance
- Prepare management meeting minutes & agendas and store them appropriately
- Handle day-to-day HR Operations with guidance.
- Record-Keeping- maintenance of company documents, staff records, disciplinary hearings, and all management communications
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
