Job Purpose

The logistics specialist is responsible for ensuring that the inbound and outbound logistics and transportation of goods and raw material are efficient and effective throughout the company and associated third parties

• Shipper coordination on freight and loading on Tanzania shipment Pre check of all documentation (BL packing, list, COC)
• Manage the inbound loads and coordinate with production for accurate arrival times and space availability.
• Freight negotiation and compliance with Tanzania shipping regulation
• Managing the seamless movement of the consignment to the destination and ensuring timely deliveries
• Managing inventory levels.
• Resolving delivery issues, maintaining accurate records.
• Analysing data to optimize logistics processes.
• Complying with regulations, and collaborating with suppliers and customers to maintain a smooth supply chain.
• Undertake other tasks as may be directed by Management
