Key Deliverables

  • Identify and nurture partnership opportunities to drive business growth aspirations.
  • Co-create client focused marketing solutions, together with the Marketing function to ensure they are locally relevant and in-line with provincial objectives.
  • Conduct market sensing and provide objective customer feedback to line management and Centre to enable effective decision making that will enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop and drive appropriate client tactics at distribution level to ensure that income statement and balance sheet objectives are achieved as guided by the explicit boundaries of client level pricing and profit hurdles.
  • Ensures a consistent understanding of Asset Management across the franchise  (including segments, client solutions, and corporate functions). Represents the Asset Management at relevant internal and external foras with the necessary decision mandate.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities through rigorous analysis and research
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to expand the company's market presence
  • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, ensuring high performance and goal attainment
  • Negotiate and structure complex commercial agreements to maximise value for the organisation
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to maintain SBGS's market position

Experience Required

5-7 years

Experience in the design and development of client value propositions. Experience within PPB/Business Clients distribution environment. Experience in the application of data management, advanced analytics, business intelligence and quantitative techniques.
