They are seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy Sales and Marketing Manager to lead their eCommerce, PR, and retail strategies.

Key Deliverables

  1. 1. Sales & Marketing Leadership:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies across online and offline channels, with a focus on driving revenue growth.Candidate must be results driven.
  • Lead and mentor the sales and marketing team, fostering a results-driven culture aligned with the brand’s vision and goals.
  • Manage thought leadership content and brand storytelling to enhance our leadership position in the Kenyan fashion and lifestyle space.

2. Digital Strategy & Website Management:

  • Oversee the eCommerce strategy, ensuring that our online presence is up to international standards, with a focus on optimizing user experience, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
  • Manage the Web Manager and ensure that all website updates, including product launches and promotions, are executed in real-time to keep the platform current and responsive.
  • Lead social media management and content creation, ensuring all platforms reflect the brand’s voice, values, and aesthetic.
  • Provide coordination support for the US website, ensuring alignment with the global brand strategy and maintaining consistency across markets.
  • Explore innovative tools and technologies, such as AI-powered personalization and marketing automation, to enhance the customer journey.

3. PR & Communication:

  • Identify and explore PR opportunities to increase our visibility, both locally through media placements, influencer collaborations, and events.
  • Act as the key communicator for the brand, crafting compelling brand assets ensuring a consistent, impactful voice across all marketing and communication channels.
  • Oversee email marketing campaigns, ensuring personalized and engaging communication with both loyal and potential customers.

4. Customer Retention & Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement strategies to strengthen client retention through personalized experiences and loyalty initiatives to drive brand loyalty to our niche clients.
  • Drive customer acquisition by identifying new markets and leveraging innovative digital and PR campaigns.

5. Sustainability & Brand Values:

  • Champion our sustainability, ethical production, and Afrocentric luxury values, integrating these into all sales, marketing, and PR efforts.
  • Highlight the brand’s impact through CSR initiatives, eco-friendly practices, and local artisan empowerment.

6. Retail Merchandising & Store Excellence:

  • Ensure the flagship store is merchandised to maximize sales and reflects the brand’s standards of luxury excellence.
  • Collaborate with the retail team to enhance the in-store experience, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s digital presence.

Essential Qualities

Essential Qualities
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field, with a minor in communication.
More Details on Experience
  • 5 years Proven track record in sales, digitalmarketing, and PR, with strong results in eCommerce and retail
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with experience managing social media and email marketing initiatives.

  • Strong experience managing, or overseeingeCommerce websites, with an understanding of web management and real-time updates.
  • Familiarity with international eCommerce standards and the ability to coordinate global web initiatives, including e-commerce updates to support our US team 
  • Experience in luxury brand management, retail merchandising, and luxury brand marketing. 
  • Tech-savvy with proficiency in digital marketing tools, data analytics, and CRM systems.
  • Strong leadership abilities, capable of mentoring teams and driving brand growth. 
  • A great attitude and a can do attitude.
