TAX ACCOUNTANT

TPC Ltd, one of the most well-respected sugar producers in Tanzania, is looking for a Tax Accountant to join its team in Moshi, at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Are you an Accounting and Taxation professional with solid background in tax management and auditing? This opportunity is for you!

• Prepare and file Tax Returns with TRA as well as organising payments of taxes.

• Ensuring monthly Gl reconciliations for all tax related accounts are done and up to date

• Communication with TRA and Tax Consultants as and when needed

• Assisting Tax Auditors during Tax Audits

• Be on top of changes in Tax Laws/Regulations

• Maintaining and keeping records of Company Tax Assets and Liabilities as well as register of all

outstanding tax matters.

• Attending and responding to TRA, customers and suppliers tax information requests and queries

• Assisting Procurement Team in their activities so that Customs and Clearing Charges are correct and paid as per legislation

• Preparing Annual Tax calculation for Year end and Budget purposes as well as annual return.

• Train employees internally on tax matters to improve tax compliance.
